Twisted Party Como criar uma sala privada
Configure uma sala, invite amigos e gerencie sua sessão do Twisted Party
This guide walks through creating a private Twisted Party lobby, generating and sharing an invite code, adjusting lobby settings, and managing players who join mid-session. For the most reliable experience — especially during the early post-launch window — private lobbies are strongly recommended over public matchmaking.
Creating a Private Lobby
From the main menu, select Create Lobby. You will be prompted to choose between an open lobby and a private one. Select private.
Once the lobby is created, the game will generate a short alphanumeric invite code. This code is displayed on the lobby screen and can be shared directly with friends. Anyone with the code can join your lobby, so share it through private channels rather than public spaces.
Sharing the Invite Code
The invite code is shown prominently in the lobby screen. Copy it and paste it into Discord, a text message, or whatever communication platform your group uses. Players enter the code from the main menu by selecting Join Lobby and entering the code manually.
Note that there is no direct Steam invite or link-based invite system at launch — the code-based system is the only way to direct friends to a specific private lobby.
Lobby Settings
As the lobby host, you have access to a small set of configuration options:
Player cap — Set the maximum number of players allowed, up to 8. The default is 8. Lowering this is useful for smaller groups who want a faster-paced session.
Ready system — Players indicate readiness by pressing the interact/use key. The host manually starts the countdown when all players are ready. There is no automatic countdown by default.
Round settings — Some mini-games have variable timer or difficulty settings controlled by the host. Check the specific mini-game rules before starting if your group has preferences.
Managing Players Mid-Session
When a player disconnects and rejoins, they re-enter the lobby as a new participant rather than resuming their previous state. If you have a player who frequently drops and rejoins, be aware that each rejoin can disrupt the lobby flow.
If the lobby freezes at the loading screen — a known issue reported during the launch window — the host should fully quit the game and recreate the lobby. Do not ask players to attempt to rejoin a frozen lobby, as this does not resolve the issue.
The Black Screen Bug
Some players reported a black screen on launch during the first weeks after release. This is typically caused by outdated GPU drivers, a conflict with overlay software, or corrupted game files. The host should ensure all players have updated drivers and have verified game file integrity before joining a session. See the Fix Connection Issues guide for the full troubleshooting workflow.
Best Practices for Hosts
Before starting, confirm that all players can see each other in the lobby player list. Agree on a start signal — either using the built-in ready system or a verbal callout in your group’s voice channel. Address technical issues (disconnections, black screens) immediately rather than waiting to see if the lobby recovers on its own.
For groups larger than 4, consider staggering round starts to give everyone time to rejoin after any mid-session technical issues.

Perguntas frequentes
Respostas rápidas para as perguntas mais comuns.
How do I share the lobby invite code?
The invite code is displayed in the lobby screen. Copy and paste it into your group's communication channel. Players enter it manually from the Join Lobby option on the main menu.
Can I kick a player from my lobby?
The lobby host has the ability to remove players. The exact UI for this varies slightly by version — look for a player list menu or a kick option when hovering over a player's name in the lobby screen.
What do I do if the lobby freezes?
Fully quit Twisted Party (not just return to the main menu) and recreate the lobby. Do not ask players to rejoin a frozen lobby — the freeze will not resolve without a full game restart by the host.
