Twisted Party Official System Requirements
Steam store specs — not the inflated copy older wikis used
Older fan pages listed 4 GB RAM minimums, 2 GB installs, Intel Macs, and GTX 750 examples that are not on the Steam store. This page reprints the official requirements for Twisted Party (app 4332910) as of launch week in August 2026. If your machine fails these lines, the game is not hiding a secret low preset.
Windows minimum
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i3
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: a modern dedicated GPU with Vulkan
- Network: broadband internet
- Storage: 500 MB
Minimum is a dedicated Vulkan GPU. The store does not bless an old iGPU as the floor. Broadband is required because every session is an online lobby of 2–8 players. The install size is 500 MB, not a multi-gig fantasy number.
Windows recommended
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: a Vulkan-capable GPU
- Network: broadband internet
- Storage: 500 MB
Recommended is still a light party game. You are not buying a 4K showcase. You are buying five wheel mini-games and a voting capsule that should not hitch while eight people load the next location. If you have 4 GB RAM, a Core i5, and a dedicated Vulkan card, you are in the band Vampire Squid asked for.
macOS minimum
- Processor: Apple Silicon M1 or newer
- OS: macOS 15
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Storage: 1 GB
The Mac build requires an Apple processor. Intel Macs are not supported. That is stricter than many indie ports. If you are on an Intel MacBook, Steam will not magically translate this into a playable night. macOS 15 is the listed floor, not Big Sur, not Monterey.
Mac RAM at minimum is 8 GB, four times the Windows minimum. Budget that difference before you tell a friend to Family Share onto a base M1 with memory pressure from a browser and Discord.
macOS recommended
- Processor: Apple processor 3 or newer
- OS: macOS 15
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Storage: 1 GB
Recommended Mac is a newer Apple chip with 16 GB RAM. Storage stays 1 GB. There is still no Linux listing. There is still no Intel Mac listing.
What this means in practice
Windows players should update GPU drivers so Vulkan initializes. A black screen at match start is often a disconnect during initialization, which the 22 July 2026 playtest patch targeted — see Fix Connection Issues — but a GPU that cannot present Vulkan will never get that far. macOS players should confirm System Settings shows an Apple chip, not an Intel line, and that the OS is 15.
Steam Cloud and Family Sharing are enabled. Family Share does not lower the spec. A shared library on a machine below the floor will still fail.
The Supporter Pack is cosmetic DLC. It does not add a heavier renderer. It does not change the 500 MB Windows or 1 GB macOS storage lines in a meaningful way for planning a disk.
If you are buying for a living-room PC, check Vulkan and broadband first, then RAM. If you are buying for a Mac, check Apple Silicon and macOS 15 first, then 8 GB versus 16 GB. Then read How to Play and host with a private code so the first crash is a lobby bug, not a spec surprise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Can I run Twisted Party on an Intel Mac?
No. The Steam listing requires an Apple processor. Minimum is Apple Silicon M1 or newer on macOS 15 with 8 GB RAM.
Is Linux supported?
No. Twisted Party is listed for Windows and macOS only.
How much disk space do I need?
Windows lists 500 MB. macOS lists 1 GB. Older wikis that said 2 GB were wrong.
