Twisted Party Launch Day Overview
25 August 2026 — delayed from the 20th, still last one standing
Twisted Party by Vampire Squid, published by Polden Publishing, released on Steam (app 4332910) on 25 August 2026. The store had listed 20 August. On 4 August 2026 that date moved so the team could add a 2–4 player mode and extra skins. The 2–4 mode is still a free-for-all. Official copy remains “There are no teammates here.”
Launch messaging pushed deadly mini-games, mad skins from wins, no allies, a 10% discount, and the trailer embedded on this page. Steam news also posted “TWISTED PARTY IS OUT NOW!” Reviews as of 28 August 2026 sat Mixed, about 67% of 168 takes, after a brief Mostly Positive stretch near 73% of 152. That is the reception snapshot, not a Metacritic fantasy.

Why the delay mattered
Without 2–4 mode, a trio of friends had to beg strangers to make a session. With it, small groups can play last-one-standing without filling eight seats. Extra skins in that window are the eight achievement looks plus pack cosmetics, not a new wheel. Hosts still cannot vote mini-games; that request outlived launch day.
If you still see “August 20, 2025” on a mirror wiki, that page never left the template. This launch happened in 2026, five days after the first advertised date.
Play loop: How to Play. Fair critique: review. Stability list: patches. The trailer above is the official launch trailer, not a random gameplay dump.
Launch week is also when people discover Bumper Car is turn-based and that packed rooms may only send a subset into blackjack. Those are design facts from day one, not surprises that a later numbered patch was supposed to invent. If you bought in on the 10% cut, you bought five wheel games, eight achievement skins, Steam Cloud, and a Discord that already had a hundred people. That is the product that shipped on the 25th. Family Sharing lets a household PC that meets the official specs pass the license around; it does not unlock Cultist for every cousin. Keep the invite code private unless you want extras from the public Discord. Then play until the wheel repeats, because it will.
The launch trailer on this page is YouTube ID IXVQHeQEvYc. Gameplay that shows a lobby into Blindshot lives on How to Play instead, so the two embeds stay unique. If you are reading this after 8 September 2026, the 10% cut may already be gone; the $4.99 list price and the five-game wheel will not. That is the honest launch snapshot.
