Twisted Party Patch Notes and Updates

Launch week, the delay, and the only official changelog

Last updated:

Twisted Party Updates Hub

Twisted Party’s public timeline is short. Announced for 20 August 2026, delayed on 4 August to 25 August so Vampire Squid could add a 2–4 player mode and extra skins, then launched on Steam for Windows and Apple Silicon macOS. This hub points at two child pages: Launch for the ship date, trailer, and USD prices, and Patch Notes for the 22 July 2026 playtest post “The patch is here!”

Nav order is 50 so Updates in the header opens this hub, then Launch, then Patches — not a random trailer page first.

What “updates” means today

As of 28 August 2026, three days after launch, there is no numbered 1.0.1 Steam news catalogue besides the launch “OUT NOW” post and launch-week stability work. The documented official changelog players can still quote is the July playtest list: black screens on disconnect during init, matches restarting when too many leave, Car Mode push waits interrupted on disconnect, location-load freezes, winner-left crashes, Music Hero extra-attempt clicks, plus emote, death-logic, winner-screen, tutorial, and lobby sync tweaks.

If a site lists Patch 1.0.1 on 20 August 2025, it is a year and a day off and should be ignored.

Where to watch next

Steam news on app 4332910, the official Discord (permanent invite, 100+ members), and @mikepogolsha on X. Email mike.raw915@gmail.com for support, not for a secret roadmap.

This wiki will not invent a content calendar. When a numbered post-launch patch exists, it belongs on the patches page under the July notes, not instead of them.

Read How to Play if you are here because the store page was thin. Read Fix Connection if you are here because the screen went black. Those are the two launch-week search intents this hub exists to split.

The 2–4 player mode from the delay is still last-one-standing. Extra skins from that week are achievement cosmetics and the paid pack, not a sixth wheel game. When Steam news posts a numbered patch, it belongs under Patch Notes. Until then, quote the July list and the 25 August launch trailer on Launch Day. Price remains $4.99 or $4.49 through 8 September 2026. Linux remains unlisted. Apple Silicon remains the Mac floor.

What launched versus what was patched in July

Launch day shipped the five-game wheel, the voting capsule, eight achievement skins, the Supporter Pack, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. The July playtest already tried to stop black screens on disconnect during init, frozen Car Mode pushes, Music Hero double-punish clicks, and crashes when a winner left before the next round. If your lobby still freezes, treat it as a remaining bug, not as proof that the July list never existed. File it on Discord or Steam with OS, GPU, and a timestamp.

This hub is also the place to remember the delay story so store widgets do not send people to 20 August 2025. The real date is 25 August 2026. The trailer on the launch page is YouTube ID IXVQHeQEvYc. Gameplay on How to Play is a different ID. Do not duplicate trailers across every article.
